First off, Charlotte Tilbury can do no wrong in my eyes. Her outstanding make up range and skincare line has graced the pages of The Beaux Diaries on many occasion! So naturally I had to share with you a couple of favourites from her newest lipstick collection: Hot Lips.
Hot Lips - (for those of you who have been living under a rock) is the latest new lipstick line by CT. It includes 12 shades (some new some relaunched) that are designed in collaboration with 12 female celebrities to support Women for Women International. This is a non profit organisation dedicated to supporting women survivors of war and injustice. £1 from each sale of lipstick is donated to the cause for the first two months of sales.
Celebrities featured in this range include Nicole Kidman, Kim Kardashian, Miranda Kerr and Kate Bosworth to name a few. The collection includes lipsticks in both formulas: Matt Revolution range and K.I.S.S.I.N.G.
Having spent a while swatching ALL the shades in store I finally decided on Very Victoria (Inspired by Victoria Beckham) which is described as a suede taupe nude, but I would describe it as more of a dusky rose. More deeper than most nudes I own Very Victoria is pretty blush pink with cool undertone. I love a nude lip all year around but feel this would be a gorgeous colour to take you through from late summer to Autumn, Paired either with metalic eyes or worn alone with just a feline flick, Very Victoria would suit most skin tones.
The second Hot Lips colour I picked up is Penelope Pink. It was a tough choice between this, Kidman's Kiss and Kim KW. Kim KW is pretty much sold out everywhere and I'm not surprised, its really gorgeous... but I did think it may be a little too pale for me. Some nudes can make you look like you've lost your lips and I think Kim KW had this effect on me. I did however get a little sample which I have been playing around with. Anyway back to Penelope Pink... (Inspired by Penelope Cruz) this just has to be one of the prettiest pinky/nudes I've tried. Its your lips but better (sorry I hate that saying but its true). It had just the right pigment to give my lips a flush of pretty pink colour. Rightly described as a light neutral pink it's a great shade for day or night.
The Lipsticks from the Hot Lips collection all come in special edition box packaging and the lipstick itself has a lip print embossed on the front of the lipstick. I'm really pleased with my two new favourites from CT Penelope Pink has barely left my lips this week!
Next up I'm eyeing, Sexy Sienna, Kidman's Kiss and Hot Emily.
Have you tried any lippies from the Hot Lips Collection? Which one is your favourite?
Thanks for stopping by, I always read and reply to all your comments and really apprieciate the time you take to read my posts. Have a fabulous day.
