I'm such a product hoarder, especially when it comes to skincare. But these last couple of months I've been busy using up some of my beauty stash to clear some room for some new bits I have my eye on.
Oskia Super 16 Serum. I'm so upset I've used this all up. Definitely one to repurchase even though the price tag is slightly eye watering. I didn't realise how good it is until now I've ran out and stopped using it. (Sobs) A must for a clear radiant dewy complexion that feels firm and visibly supple. Packed with 16 super nutrients and bio actives which deliver results from the first use. Super 16 Serum I miss you!
Caudalie Divine Oil (sample size) And divine it is. After showering I've been smothering my body in this gorgeous sweet smelling oil. It leaves my skin seriously soft with a delicate sheen. It's so luxurious and feels amazing especially on my legs. It's a dry oil so sinks in straight away. I prefer to use the Caudalie Divine Oil on my body rather than my hair (not a fan of oils in my hair) and it can also be used as a massage oil or in the bath. I got this in a Space Nk gift box last year and I'm only just using up all the goodies from it! Really tempted to by the full size version.
Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin one of my all time faves. The first Jo Malone fragrance I ever brought and one I always try and keep a stash of. It's quite a strong, instantly recognisable scent and it reminds me of holidays. Sadly there's no airport duty free shipping for me any time soon so I guess I'll have to pay full price for my next bottle!
Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti Wrinkle Serum such a great serum for an amazing price too. My skin always feels amazing when I use this serum and have gone through quite a few bottles in the past year. One I'll always go back to and recommend if your looking for some inexpensive anti ageing skin care. Fabulous for putting back in what your skin is missing and keeping those wrinkles plumped up and less visible.
Caudalie Polyphonol C15 Anti Wrinkle Eye and Lip Cream. Same applies as above. This really light yet creamy gel - cream (creamy gel -cream? I need a thesaurus) feels lovely to apply and really helps combat the fist sign of ageing around the top lip and eyes.
Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti Wrinkle Broad ProtectionFluid This the perfect moisturiser/day cream. It preps and protects your skin against the daily grind of pollution dirt and grime. It's makes a fabulous base for make up too. I wrote a full review on the Caudalie Polphenol C15 range which you can read here.
Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. I wasn't a fan at first but after a few weeks of persistent wear I grew to love this foundation. It's a light dewy coverage that really gives you that glow. The stumbling block for me was the light coverage I found I needed a couple of coats and some concealer to get the coverage I desired and I'm not a heavy face kinda girl. Now however, I love it. Definitely one for Spring / summer months when you don't necessarily need a full on coverage. Plus it contain SPF15.
Clarins Instant Light Concealer I've banged on about this before and you can read my review here. This concealer, in my humble opinion is one of the best. It's radiant coverage helps you fake your eight hours beauty sleep with out creasing or caking. Absolutely love this and have already repurchased!
Nars sheer glow foundation. Love it or hate it. This is my number one. I always go back to this foundation as the dewy formula and coverage just work for me. I wear Punjab and have never had a problem with the colour coverage or longevity. One might say it's my holy grail! Already repurchased and still going strong. All hail Nars!!
And lastly I also burnt out 2 candles from my Diptyque collection. Cypress and Mimosa. Although I'm always sad when they've all gone I've washed out the glass and now I'm using them as pretty cotton wall containers on my dressing table al la Kate la Vie!!
Still with me? Jez wasn't planning on such a long post. Tried to keep it short and sweet as there's got to be something weird about reading about empty products!! Feeling rather pleased that I've used up so many products this month and won't be feeling so guilty when my Net a Porter package arrives next week.....
What have you guys been using up lately
