Aurelia is one of my absolute favourite skincare brands and last week I had the pleasure of attending an event at their beautiful pop up boutique in Mayfair London. I've been using the Miracle Cleanser for years, and the Refine and Polish Miracle Balm is one of my unsung heroes, so I was really excited to pop along have some breakfast and learn about the three fabulous new product launches.
Located along Piccadilly Road, Mayfair, the Pop Up Boutique was the most beautiful set up for a beautiful brand. The pretty shop floor was filled with fresh flowers, and huge marble table that took centre stage was filled with the Aurelia product range for us to try. Including the exciting new launches. At the rear of the boutique was an area for facials and mini treatments. The atmosphere was intimate yet relaxed, I chatted to the lovely Aurelia girls, fellow bloggers and had a little continental breakfast of pastries, fruit and orange juice. The founder Claire Vero was also their chatting to guests and sharing her passion for her brand. I had a really wonderful time and felt so privileged to be invited. I also took home a gorgeous goodie bag with a beautiful cosmetic pouch packed full of samples. (Thank you Aurelia).
The New Product Launches
Whilst at the event I had a sneek peek at the new product launches. Two beautiful Botanical Essence facial Mists and a Botanical Cream deodorant. The Calming Botanical Essence is designed to relieve stress whilst soothing the skin and mind. And the Brightening Botanical Essence is designed to uplift, energise and invigorate the skin and mind. The Natural Botanical Cream deodorant is a concept I have not tried before, but was definitely intrigued. And by the way smelt absolutely amazing.
The Calming Botanical Essence is ideal for those stressed souls, those suffering from lack of sleep, new mummies or chic jet setters to help combat jet lag. A gorgeous mix of seven essential oils including, Linden Blossom, Chamomile and Lavender ease the senses and relax the mind. It can be uses as part of your morning and evening skincare routine and also used throughout the day when needed. Wonderful stuff.
The Brightening Botanical Essence is again the same concept, a beautiful face mist with twelve essential oils including Geranium, Cedarwood, Fennel and Magnolia. Used in the same way as the Calming Botanical essence this facial mist helps achieve a radiant glowing complexion with a sense of happiness and well being. I have to admit while I would favour the Calming Botanical Essence I much preferred the scent of the Brightening Botanical Essence.
Priced at £42 for 50ml and £22 for a travel sized 10ml these facial sprays are available from November 2016.
Botanical Cream Deodorant
A new revelation for Aurelia, the Botanical Cream Deodorant not only smells divine but actually really works. I was a tad sceptical at first but I think I am being converted from my usual Garnier spray. Packed with natural ingredients such as Shea butter (to moisturise) Tea-tree, Eucalyptus and Peppermint for their antiseptic and deodorising properties and Lavender and Bergamot to fragrance. This aluminium free deodorant is really worth a try.
I received a sample in my goodie bag and have been putting it to the test. The 'cream' is a balm-like texture that melts into your skin as you massage in. It's instantly dry and leaves no unsightly marks on clothing. Plus my underarms (the most sensitive part of my body) feel incredibly soft, and cared for with no irritation. At £18 its seems like an expensive option but for 50g Aurelia recommend this should last 6 months. A smaller trial size of 5g is also available for £5. Lovely!
Also new at Aurelia, are two cute little packages with trial size products. Little Treasures which contains the firm and Revitalise Body Oil and the Aromatic Repair and Brighten Hand Cream. And The Jet Set Weekender, which includes samples of each product from the Aurelia range and a full size muslin cloth. These would make wonderful gifts/stocking stuffers are are exclusive to the aureliaskincare.com and Space NK. I also picked up the Eye Duo which I'm currently loving and will pop a review up on The Beaux Diaries in a couple of weeks.
I really could go on and on about Aurelia skincare, from the Probiotic and BioOrganic ingredients to the beautiful packaging, the brand has it all. Sadly the Pop Up Boutique is now closed but if a standalone store opens anytime soon I will be first in the que.
What's your favourite skincare brand? Are you an Aurelia fan?
Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.
