Confession - I am a complete Bobbi Brown addict. I've accumulated so much of her make up lately (reviews up soon) and now I'm moving on to Bobbi Brown skincare.
The latest to launch in the skincare range is a trio of masks. Each helping with a different skincare concern. There's the Detox Mask, the Radiance Boost and the Skin Nourish Mask. At £33 each there definitely at the high end price bracket but the good news is you can try them all out in this cute mini mask trio for just £10.
I've be been giving my skin a treat this week by testing them all and they are good - really good.
Instant Detox Mask.
This is a deep cleanse for the skin. It's clay based formula detoxifies and clarifies the skins surface and removes impurities. It's recommended for weekly use it works in just 2-5 minutes. Perfect for gals short on pamper time.
Packed full of wonderful ingredients like Hawaiian sea water and mineral rich Amazonian white clay it certainly delivers results. The Detox Mask extracts toxins and impurities, removes excess oil, reduces the appearance of pores and doesn't strip the skin.
The black mask smoothes on easily and tingled for about a minute. It dries quickly and tightens on the skin, but it's not uncomfortable. As it dries you can literally see it clinging to those open pores and drawing out toxins.
It rinses off with ease and after my skin felt fresh and clear. It's particularly good if you have an oily t zone. (I have combination skin and suffer with a few spots on my chin now and again). This Instant Detox Mask made them less red and the next morning they were a lot less visible. My open pores on my cheeks were more refined which is especially good news.
The Radiance Boost
This gives your skin an instant glow. Which is what we all need at this dull, miserable time of year. It's recommended for weekly use but I feel it's gentle enough to use more often - maybe a couple of times a week. The Radiance Boost mask contains superfine walnut grain beads for a gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells and kaolin clay to reduce the build up of oil. The orange oil is energising and this mask feels like a real treat for your skin. Its gritty texture is easy to apply, feels quite fresh on and removes easily with a muslin cloth. I used this in the morning for a little pick me up and my skin looked fresh and glowey.
Skin Nourish Mask
This one is all about the moisture. Wonderful if you want smooth, plump skin. You can use it 3 times a week or whenever it's needed. The Nourish Mask is the lightest of the trio but feels really moisturising.
It's suitable for all skin types but I think it would be perfect for dry skins. It contains lots of fancy ingredients that help achieve luminous revitalised skin. It helps produce collagen and distributes moisture, whilst also reducing the look of fine lines. It generally makes you look radiant and awake.
I left the nourish mask on for around 10 minutes before bed. Following directions I tissued most of it off and massaged in the rest in. My skin felt so moisturised - not greasy at all and I didn't feel the need to apply my usual serum or night cream. In the morning my skin felt really soft and supple. Lovely stuff!
Overall these are seriously good masks. This mini trio is perfect for trying them all at a fraction of the cost. At just £10 for the 3, there's enough for at least 2/3 applications of each. I love the fact they deliver results in just 5 minutes. I'll be adding The Detox Mask and the Skin Nourish Mask to my collection and feel they will be a welcome addition to my skin care regime.
Have you tried any of the Bobbi Brown masks? Which one takes your fancy?
