Whilst in Covent Garden at the weekend I simply had to pop into the newly opened Charlotte Tilbury Flagship store. The interior is beautiful; gold, Art Deco inspired mirrored counters, chandeliers, vintage trinket boxes, glass cloches containing skincare displays and burlesque feathers which all compliment the Charlotte Tilbury brand. On first impressions its a little smaller than I imagined but the space is used incredibly well as the store is ram packed with Tilbury treats.
As you walk in; your met with beautiful decadent displays and every make up collection Charlotte has designed, these are divided into sections - making it easier to shop: there's best sellers, skin secrets, a huge lipstick section too; just waiting to be tried tested and swatched. The back wall of the store homes Charlotte's '10 Iconic Looks' The sophisticate, The Rebel, The Rock Chick and so on, complete with a screen showing her famous YouTube tutorials on how to complete these looks. There's a couple of vanity tables upstairs too for those of walk in and fancy having their make up done. The staff were extremely busy yet, really friendly and helpful.
The huge white staircase leads you downstairs to the boudoir. And on route there's a enormous screen the showcases every magazine cover and campaign Charlotte has worked on. The boudoir itself is absolutely stunning. There's seven vanity tables with red velvet stools and showbiz style lit mirrors. Here you can book to have your make up done by one of Charlotte's make up artists. There's a cute make up 'Service Menu' where you can choose to book a Lead or In-House Artist to teach you a quick trick, red carpet skincare or a full look. There'e even a wedding service, which would be a fabulous treat for a bride and her bridesmaids (especially with a visit to the champagne bar!) Its a more relaxed atomosphere downstairs perfect place to be pampered away from the hustle and bustle of Convent Garden,
Even though I didn't book to have my make up done - I would definitely book up soon. I still however managed to pick up a few treats whilst I was in store and will post a Charlotte Tilbury Haul up on The Beaux Diaries in the next few days. The store is super easy to find: Jump on the Piccadilly line and as soon as you leave the tube station exit, the store is right in front on you. For die hard Charlotte Tilbury fans it's a must visit!
Have you been to the Charlotte Tilbury Store? What did you buy?
