I don't know about you, but my skin seriously needs some tlc in the winter. A combination of central heating, cold weather and too much over indulgence around Christmas all takes its toll on my skin. I like to switch up my skincare throughout the year and in Winter it's all about moisture, radiance and squeeky clean skin. I've been using some wonderful products to help achieve a winter glow and for now its all about Oskia and Antipodes.
Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel
This one has been doing the rounds on beauty blogs for a while and its definitely worth all the rave reviews. Its packed full of vitamins including A, B2, C and E, Omega 6 and pumpkin enzymes. This amazing cleanser removes impurities cleanses the pores, increases firmness and promotes radiance. I'd recommend a double cleanse - apply the cleanser to dry skin and massage in, the pinky gel turns into an oil and smells divine. I always use a muslin cloth to remove as it does a better job than just your hands, and makes my skin feel super clean.
Oskia Super 16 Serum
After cleansing I apply a serum and for the last few weeks I have been testing out Oskia Super 16 ProCollagen Serum. Its a pricey one but certainly delivers results. Its anti ageing promises is what first drew me to the product. Super 16 serum contains 16 key ingredients (which you can read about in more detail here ) But in short it increases collagen, anti oxident protection, hydration and firmness and gives my skin a much needed pick me up in the mornings. It sinks in beautifully and feels so luxurious on the skin. I never want it to run out. Ever.
Antipodes Rejoice Day Cream
Following on from my serum I use Antipodes Light Rejoice Day Cream. Its important to protect your skin from the winter elements and this day cream is lovely and moisturising. its quite rich, but not greasy. I usually struggle finding a day cream that doesn't make my make off slide off before I've even set foot in the office - but so far I'm loving this one. It contains Vitamins, fatty acids, manuka flower oil and avocado oil which help achieve a healthy complexion and as soon as I apply it my skin looks brighter and healthier - The Light Rejoice day cream creates a great base for applying make up.
Antipodes Avocado and Pear Night Cream
I've been trying to keep my skincare regime fairly streamlined and have been using the same products at day and night, But swapping the day cream for night (obvs)
This night cream a dream come true for dry skin. Its nourishing and rehydrates my skin almost instantly even though its designed to work over night. Its perfect for this time of year when you need a rich night cream to work its magic from all the cold weather, heavy make up and partying. As with all the products I've been using The Anitipodes Avocado Pear night cream is made from natural ingredients and I'm definitely feeling the benefits of organic skincare.
Which products help you through the winter months?
