I caved. I couldn't resist this beauty box. After a bad day (well week actually) this beautiful box popped up on my Twitter feed and on a whim I popped it into my basket on Space NK online. Very naughty considering its £55 and I'm supposed to be being good this month. But just 2 days later it arrived and I was super excited to test out all the gorgeous goodies. There's lots to sample and all at decent sizes. Many of them being brands and products I've had on my radar for a while but not had a chance to try out - until now...
So here's what you get:
Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment I've been wanted to try this for a while but its a bit pricey and wasn't sure I could justify another expensive skincare product. May is turning out to be an expensive month already. This radiance boosting skin treatment can be used as a mask, a daily serum or to target problem areas. The Good genes treatment promises to exfoliate to reveal brighter newer and firmer skin. After just 1 try I'm a fan my skin felt alot tighter and brighter. I would definitely consider purchasing but at £85 it might have to wait just a little bit longer.
Caudalie Divine Dry Oil And divine it certainly is! I love an oil product. It contains grape seed, sesame hibiscus and Argan oils and can be used on hair face and body. I've been using on my body straight from the shower. It smells beautiful and leaves me skin feeling silky not greasy. Would repurchase this one!
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial. I've heard all good things about this product. But I'm not sure I really need another overnight product just yet! I have quite a few but will be taking it away with me at the end I the month. As its cute little size is perfect for travel. It promises to plump and rejuvenate your skin as you sleep. Sarah Chapman Overnight Skinesis Facial contains vitamins antioxidants firming dermaxyl peptide and brightners. Sounds wonderful and I'm expecting good results.
Malin & Goetz Vitamin B5 Moisturiser
This gorgeous body moisturiser is so rich and nourishing and smells wonderful. After applying my skin felt moisturised all day. Its non greasy and leaves my skin feeling supply. I have a mountain of body moisturisers so probably wouldn't need to repurchase but this little sample is delightful.
Margaret Dabbs Intensive Foot Treatment Oil. Another oil product, :) I've made a conscious effort to use this as I tend to neglect my feet. It's really lovely and would be good on dry cracked heels or brittle nails. It leaves a lovely sheen to my feet which looks pretty with a tan and a must have with sandals.
Dyptyque Baies Candle Who doesn't love Diptyque ? And Baies as well! This cute travel size candle is currently residenting on my beside table yet to be lit. Baies is def one of my faves and I have it in the 70g size too the fruity floral scent of red fruit and roses reminds me of my baby Hugo as I have this candle in his nursery.
Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti Ageing Cream £85
I love anything anti ageing and this rich moisturiser is wonderful. I've been using this cream for a week and so far I have to admit its really making my skin feel a lot more radiant and fresher. Its rich quite thick so takes a minute or 2 to soak in and you don't need to apply and serum its enough on its own. I'm sure with continued use I would see more improvement to my skin (hopefully anyway) and I would be very tempted to switch my normal moisturiser with this one. Shame its £85!
Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil I will def be repurchasing after this sample runs out. But it's a decent size so should hopefully last me a while as you only need a tiny amount. It's light weight and leaves my hair silky soft shiny and conditioned it smells beautiful. One of the best hair oils I've tried.
Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath and Shower Oil
I accidently tipped the whole of this cute little pot into my bath the other night. Its gorgeous scent of frankincense, rosemary, rose and sage really helped my relax and unwind after a stressful day. Its wonderful to relax in a hot bath after a bad day and this little bath and shower oil will do just the trick!
Nude Progenius Treatment Oil
This product is exclusive to Space NK. I've had samples from the Nude range before and I'm not convinced. I found the oil quite greasy after applying. In the morning my skin was still quite oiley and I had a few blemishes. I will be trying out again though as I believe everyone deserves a second chance and my skin maybe a bit more adaptable now as I use a lot of oil based products.
Eve Lom Cleanser
Ahh my absolute fave! I adore this Eve Lomcleanser and if you read my first blog post I wrote about how I use it in my everyday skincare routine. I love that you get a muslin cloth in this beauty box and the small cleanser is ideal for travel. I'll be packing this come the end of the month when I'm away for a few days with the girls.
So Overall I'm really impressed with the Space Nk beauty Box. At £55 its a more expensive choice out of all the beauty boxes out there (most retail around £15) and technically its a posh box of delux samples but I think its worth it for the candle and the Eve Lom cleanser alone. The samples as I said before are good sizes and its a great way of trying multiple high end products at one cost.
Also inside you get a little card with information about each product and a discount code for Space NK if you wish to buy any of the selected products.
My favourites have to be the Caudalie Dry Oil, Dyptque candle, Oribe Gold Luxe hair oil and Margret Dobbs Foot oil which I cant stop using. Not surprisingly these are all oil based products - I think I'm obsessed!
Have you tried any of these products? Would you purchase the Space NK Beauty Box? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
