The Holy Grail of beauty products? It Certainly is! I purchased this at Duty Free before my trip to Australia in February. Its been on my beauty radar for a while but I've only just got around to actually trying it. I've been using every night for the last two months and really wanted to give it a good trial before sharing my thoughts with you.
Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate is an overnight elixir that works to replenish your skin with moisture. It's packed full of good-for-your-skin ingredients including essential oils, lavender, evening primrose oil, omega -6 fatty acids and squalane - a signature Kiehl’s ingredient. (Squalane is a highly refined moisturizing oil derived from an olive. It’s very silky, easily absorbed and known to be particularly good at mixing with the natural oils of your skin).
It works overnight as to help your skin recover radiance, and to make your skin feel smoother and softer, and trust me it does. From the very first use; my skin felt plump, refined and so silky smooth. My pores seemed smaller which was a major plus for me.
I've found its also great to use on sunburn I started using this in Australia on holiday and it really keep my skin from drying out after a day in the sun.
It smells beautiful; the scent of lavender infused with other essential oils hits you straight away, which is really relaxing before bedtime.
To apply; I squeeze two or three drops from the cute little button pipette to clean skin, straight after my toner. Then lightly press into my forehead cheeks and chin and massage in.
The first few times I used this I just used alone without moisturiser after as I think its good for your skin to get used to a new product. But now I follow with my Rodial Glamtox Night cream and the combination is working so far!
If your after a new night time face serum I'd totally recommend - even if you have sensitive skin this you really cant go wrong.
At £36 for 30ml its a fairly small bottle for the price but a small price to pay for beautiful skin.
Do you use Kiehls Midnight recovery? I'd love to hear what you think?
