I've been dying to try Oskia Renaissance Mask for ages as I've heard so many good things about it. Its been on my Wish List forever, and a few weeks ago I popped it into my Beauty Bay basket (again) and this time I finally made it to the checkout.
Its pretty amazing. It brightens, exfoliates, boosts radiance and increases cell renewal. It deep cleanses and helps declog pores. A do - it - all wonder mask that's fast becoming my beauty saviour. It makes a wonderful pamper treat for a Sunday night ready to get my skin ready for the week ahead and recover from the over indulgence of the weekend.
The Oskia Renaissance mask is packed full of wonderful ingredients including enzymes, AHAs and lactic acids, which leaves my complexion smoother and firmer. The fine lines around my eyes are less visible and overall my skin looks more youthful and plump; like I've just had a good few hours in a spa.
The texture is a super soft - peachy jelly - like, err, gel (ha). It has a beautiful floral scent of roses that's really luxurious. As you massage in, the mask instantly turns white, so it's easy to spot parts you may have missed. (Its so lovely you'll be oohing and ahhing as you apply). You only need a little and the jar is huge so you get more beauty for your pennies.
Oskia recommend to leave for 10 - 15 minutes but I always tend to leave for a few extra. I have oily to combination skin that adapts well to trying new products but if you have sensitive skin then I'd recommend you only leave for 10 minutes. Its really comfortable to wear and feels so nourishing on the skin. It didn't sting or irritate. Removal is easy: splash with water and massage again; this activates the second stage and the mask turns in to a milk /balm texture. I prefer to use a muslin cloth to remove but you can rinse well with just your hands.
The Oskia Renaissance mask is nothing short of wonderful. Its gentle yet ridiculously effective. It's a great pick me up if your skin feels dull or lack luster. If you have a special occasion coming up and need a bit of help in the glow department then this mask is the one. I predict I'll be using this a lot to help me glow through the colder months coming up.
Its worth the spurge - treat yourselves!
What's your favourite skin pick me up?
