I'm always obsessing over something or another - a face cream, new lipstick, handbag, Tom Harding (sorry not sorry). And lately I'm using some real beauty gems - too good not to share with you. I wrote a 'Currently Obsessing Over' post a few weeks ago (you can read here) and you guys seamed to enjoy it so I'm back with my next edit.
First up is Aesop Resurrection Hand Balm . Its really nourishing and fantastic for dry hands. Its great for conditioning your nails and cuticles and can even be used on your feet too. Its a fairly thick cream and on application the silky balm melts in to my skin making them feel super soft for hours. Ingredients include: lavender oil, shea butter, grapefruit, cedarwood rosemary and sweet almond oil, which create a wonderful aromatic scent. If I use this in public my friends will always ask to borrow it. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen this Aesop hand cream pop up a lot lately! Not only is the hand balm wonderful it looks pretty cool on your coffee table/desk too as its pretty photogenic. (not that I'm shallow or anything).
Balmain Hair Perfume is my next beauty crush. I wrote about this a couple of weeks ago and still so in love with it. Not only does it smell incredible in my hair but its like a leave in conditioner and has really helped my dry ends. Its weighless and adds a beautiful shine. Its great for a refresh throughout the day, if my hair has been hit by the weather or is looking like it needs a little pick me up; a few spritzes and its brought back to life. I can't wait to try out some more from the Balmain haircare range.
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise in Jean has literally been on my eyelids for months now. I wear this cream eyeshadow pretty much everyday. It's a lovely champagne neutral colour, that I either wear alone or blended with other shadows. 'Jean' looks great paired with a berry lip which is my favourite Autumn make up look. It rarely creases and lasts all day. It can easily be built up and layered for a stronger evening look and sometimes I use as a little highlighter under my brow bone. A versatile little pot that I can't seem to live without.
My other favourite Charlotte Tilbury product at the moment is her Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude It's a fab neutral pencil that you can really create a great lip line with to achieve a deeper lip definition or pout. I find this colour goes well with lots of nude/pink shades of lipstick and glosses. sometimes I just wear it alone with a little lip balm for a natural day look. A favourite everyday staple.
And lastly I'm obsessing over the Laura Mercier Primer. I reach for this every day after using a moisturiser. It preps and primes my skin ready for foundation, helps my make up last well throughout the day and stops my foundation becoming patchy (something I hate and suffer from thanks to having combination skin). Its by far my favourite primer and I'm constantly replenishing it. Laura Mercier have (in my opinion) the best range of primers on the market. There's something for everyone, oil free, hydrating, mineral, radiance etc. I previously raved about them all here. Everyone needs some Laura Mercier in there life!
What products are you currently obsessing over? Have you tried any of the above products?
