Ok I admit, I'm a skincare addict. I have quite a large collection right now and have been trying a lot of great products but nothing I've tried compares to my favourite Glamoxy Rodial Snake Serum.
Rodial is a brand I've stuck with for a long time and always go back to using their products. The Glamoxy Snake Serum is no exception. I've been using this serum morning and night for about 2 years now and it's really helped keep my skin firm and the wrinkles at bay.
That was until I ran out. I decided to make an effort and use some of my other products (Kiehls Midnight recovery is a firm favourite - and I'm currently using some wonderful Caudalie Anti wrinkle products) but more on those later.
It's when I stop using Glamoxy Snake Serum that I notice the biggest difference, my skin just isn't the same. It's not saggy by any means but the lines on my forehead are definitely more visible and it's certainly not as firm. Rodial Snake Serum gives instant results (and that's saying something), it leaves my skin plumped with lines visibly reduced. After continued use over time; it helps fade and soften expression lines and leaves skin hydrated and radiant. From personal experience, I notice a difference straight away and after a few weeks results are more noticeable.
I apply morning and night after cleansing and toning and massage into the areas prone to expression lines: forehead, frown lines and smile lines. Its gentle enough to use around the eyes too and powerful enough to deliver results. It has a clear gel - like serum texture and takes a minute or two to soak in. Then I apply moisturiser before my make up.
It might just be worth adding that Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum doesn't actually contain real snake venom. It mimics the effects of the Temple Viper Venom to give a mild freeze like effect supporting the reduction of visible facial contractions. Its not quite botox but prevention is better than cure right?
So enough rambling from me but just on a final note - people often think I'm younger than I really am and I like to think this is because of Rodial Glamoxy Snake serum, it really is my secret weapon. Just a shame its £127 a bottle! But a small price to pay for eternal youth haha!!
Rodial are currently out of stock at the time of writing this post. However its widely available, Space Nk is worth a try instead.
Have you tried Rodial Snake Serum? What's your skincare secret weapon?
